What is Artcore?
Artcore [International] is a Registered Charity that was set up in 1995 with the purpose of encouraging the production, exhibition and experience of art in all its many forms. To this end the Charity serves as an umbrella organisation for a diverse population of groups and individuals involved in the various stages of the art process.
At present the Charity supports thirteen art spaces mainly in the Greater London Area. These premises range from small individual facilities up to large complexes, which may include exhibition and performance space as well as a number of workshop/studio units.
The Charity is staffed in the main by dedicated volunteers who ensure that costs are kept to a minimum in all areas, enabling us to operate effectively on minimal income from donations and membership etc.
